We've planned and practiced for months. This morning was our last rehearsal. Excitement was high. Now my bags are packed and I'm ready to fly. Tomorrow morning after our choir sings for two services, we will board the bus and head for the airport. After 18+ hours, our final flight will touch down in Kiev, Ukraine.
We've had some tips on what to expect, but as I've learned from past experiences, my observations will differ from others. I'm anxious to interact with the nationals. I'm excited about seeing their culture; their homes; their churches, and yes, the bakeries and candy shops! I hope to find a yarn shop or two, and check out the local stores for the china department. [Some things never change.]
I won't be able to write for awhile, but I will check in as soon as I can.

Have a very safe trip! We'll be thinking of you along the way and looking forward to seeing you in just a few days.
And remember, we have a small apartment, so don't buy too much china...
Have a great trip! I can't wait to see and hear all about it!
Have a wonderful trip! Sounds pretty amazing. :)
