By now you've probably heard about the collapse of the dome in downtown Minneapolis. It happened about 5 this morning, due to the heavy snow from our blizzard. To see an incredible video that captured the incident, click here, which is my daughter-in-law, Sarah's, blog.
Timing in this is interesting. Due to the blizzard on Saturday and the airport in Minneapolis closed, the football team, the New York Giants, were rerouted to Kansas City. Thankfully someone saw the potential danger of the build up of snow on the roof of the dome, and postponed the noon game on Sunday (today), to Monday night. With this new wrinkle (or catastrophe), the game is being transferred to Detroit - for tomorrow night. Skol Vikings!
