Aunt Liz (Great-great to Relia) and Relia in conversation
Sarah, Aurelia, Peder
This was one busy, but fun, weekend for me. Saturday I hosted a dinner for my Minnesota family - well most of them. Pat, Pudge, Aunt Liz, Janet, Jerry, Sarah, Peder and Aurelia all came over. We had a very nice time of visiting and eating. It as the first time for everyone to see Aurelia, and she made quite a hit (are you surprised?!). She is such a good baby, smiling and looking around. She's strong too! It was so much fun to see her again!
At dessert time we celebrated the November birthdays in our family: Jerry: 16th; Sarah: 20th; and Peder: 21st.
Peder and Sarah returned the cradle on loan to them from Pat & Pudge. Aurelia was the 15th little one to use it. Josiah was #14. Hans -#4; Peder -#5; and Heidi -#7. Each of their names has been written on the bottom of the cradle, so it has become a nice piece of family history.
Sunday I sang in the choir for two services, went out to lunch with friends, and then the friends and I went to the Bloomington Civic Theatre. We saw Urinetown, the Musical. The title is awful, and the story was mediocre, but the singing, dancing, costumes, orchestra and sets were wonderful. In February we will see The Fantasticks. In April we will see The Pajama Game. It's a fun time for us!
Thankfully we gained an hour this weekend or otherwise it would have seemed like we had only 10 minutes off from work. This way we had an hour and 10 minutes ~ or so it seems.
