Summer Time

This summer has been very nice. Since I'm still wearing the brace for my back, I haven't done any traveling. However, I have been going to my pool nearly every afternoon. Once there I can remove the brace and walk into the pool. Down in the 4.5' depth, I walk back and forth, being careful to not twist. It may not sound like fun, but being there with my neighbor friends is really delightful.

There are days when I get too much sun, so then I wear my swim shirt the following day or two and do just fine. The water is really nice (our pools in my association are kept very clean), and it makes motion seem effortless. I keep thinking of all the vitamin D I am getting.

Today I took my phone along so I could take a couple of photos. My friend, Patti, and her daughter and granddaughters were in the pool when I arrived. Patti babysits the two girls Monday through Fridays, so we ladies have gotten acquainted with them. They are really fun. Sometimes Alea, the younger one, gets tired and a bit cranky, and then Patti has to take them home. Cali, the older one, is good tempered all the time. I just love her smile.
